By utilizing a new cutting edge forced air kit system, the Snell SA2010 certified BR.1 helmet is the first of its kind in the industry. It can be 3 different helmets...your choice! The kit system allows racers to easily customize the BR.1 to adapt to their individual needs and different forms of auto racing. Because of the versatility of the BR.1, you no longer have to choose between a standard model or side forced air or top forced air helmet.

By installing either the left side forced air or top forced air kit (kits sold separately), the BR.1 will become a full ventilation forced air helmet featuring Bell's air chamber technology to increase pressure and accelerate airflow (when used with external forced air system).

In the standard configuration (base price), the BR.1's Venturi air exchange system and rear facing chin bar vents with top vent provide ventilation while preventing dirt and dust from entering the helmet.

You can choose either of the optional forced air kits; left side air or top air. Bell's 2011 forced air helmet features the new Quick Lock nozzle that locks the connector in place, but still allows for quick release when exiting the race car. The smaller nozzle design helps accelerate airflow into the helmet.

The Quick Lock nozzle can be used with traditional 1.5 inch diameter forced air hoses by choosing an optional air adapter kit which will connect the hose with the Bell Quick Lock nozzle.
